Who We Are
Alazar, our CEO, was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. As a youth, he wanted to be a cowboy. Not a football player, but an actual cowboy. Upon hearing of this, his parents crushed his dreams and sent him to prep school. There, he learned the cold truths of the world and decided to become a CEO. He attended Harvard University where he joined a fraternity. He quickly rose through the ranks of this brotherhood and gained a passion for, let's just say, leadership. He graduated from Harvard with a degree in landscaping. He then went on to earn his master's degree in business. After recieving a small loan of one million dollars from his incredibly wealthy parents, Alazar founded what would become the greatest city design organization in the world - Design Engineer Operation, Inc. He now leads DEO with an iron fist and a stong mind.
Shawn, our Cheif Operating Officer, was born in Berlin, Germany. When he was two years old, his parents and he moved to the United States. Growing up, Shawn wanted to be in charge of a company. He graduated from Yale Uith a degree in business. He spent some time working at a paper company in Pennsylvania, almost acheiving his dream of being in charge. Alas, he was only the Assistant to the Regional Manager. In hopes of achieving a higher position in society, Shawn joined DEO. Spotting his incredible ability to lead, Alazar promoted him to COO. Perhaps someday Shawn will achieve his childhood dream of leading a company. Until then, however, Shawn shall serve valiantly as second-in-command.
Kidus, our accountant, was born and raised in New York City. Ever since he can remember, he has always loved money. Work as an accountant just seemed natural. After graduating from NC State with a degree in accounting, Kidus joined DEO to become our accountant. He is, by far, the best accountant we have ever employed. He is also, by far, the only accountant we have ever employed. That's how good he is. He was the first hired, and has worked with us for over forty years, saving money in order to buy a huge portion of Logan Paul merchandise. However, this obsession has not clouded his work vision. He has proven himself an effective accountant, and we hope to work with him for another forty years.
India, our city planner, was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. Throughout her youth, she loved building and designing. Whether she used Lego, wooden blocks, Minecraft, popsicle sticks, or built in Fortnite, India always thought of new, creative ways to work within her environmental limitations. She was never one for academics, however. She dropped out of high school as soon as she could and became a full-time Roblox youtuber, moving on to Fortnite once Roblox decreased in popularity. After spending too much money on Fornite V-Bucks, she went broke. Her luck was about to change, however. After a long day at work, Alazar came home to do the only thing that gave him joy in such stressful times - watch Fortnite (and sometimes Pubg) videos on YouTube. He came across one of India's videos, and was amazed at her incredible building ability. He called her up and offered her a job as DEO's city planner. She accepted, and has since then designed some of the world's most modern, efficient, and beautiful cities.
Jasmin, our structural engineer, was born and raised on a farm out in rural Kentucky. She was also a passionate builder from birth. However, she tended to focus more on the structure of a build rather than its design. From the age of two, she would test a structure (or a person's) durability by whacking at it until it broke, or needed serious medical attention. As she grew older, and after some therapy, her focus became to build rather than to take down. She graduated from Harvard with a degree in structural engineering. While at Harvard, she met Alazar. After college, he offered her a job as DEO's structural engineer, and she accepted. Today, she designs some of the most structurally sound buildings in the world.
Jacob, our IT Technician, was born and raised in Compton, California. Growing up, he never thought he would be where he is right now. To this day, he still wonders if this is all just some sort of bad dream. As a child, Jacob loved music. He actually tried out for NWA at age sixteen. For whatever reason, he wasn't let in. After his dreams had been squashed, he attended the University of Southern California. There, he earned his degree in technology. After a couple of years of living in his parents' basement, they kicked him out. He knew he needed a job, so he applied for a job at DEO. After much begging, Alazar let him work for minimum wage. He proved to be an effective technician, so Alazar raised his salary to the regular amount. He has worked at DEO ever since. Fun Fact: Jacob actually wrote the entirety of "Straight Outta Compton" and, to this day, has not received credit.
